Aaron & Evan
A little bit about you both
We are both in our mid 30’s and have been together for 10 years. We have two dogs named Carson & Sydney. Aaron is a Creative Director for a Dance Fitness Business and Evan is a Compliance Manager. Our spare time is spend eating out as we love to try new restaurants, we also love to travel.
Tell us a bit about the proposal
We went to New York for a five day break the end of February 2020. As we were walking through Central Park, Evan stopped at a quiet pound and said “ I think this belongs to you’ took out a black box, as soon as I saw it and saw Appleby I knew what it was. We then went to the Ritz Hotel for Champagne.
What suppliers did you work with?
I have to say we worked with some of the best suppliers, starting off with the staff in the Osprey, myself (Aaron) and Catherine spent many times laughing. She always understood and could see what we wanted and nothing was a hassle, Martina one of the managers made every stay so comfortable. Everything on the day went perfect. The food was beautiful, arrived exactly on time and tasted AMAZING.Â
We also worked with Kevin at Event Central who looked after all our room décor. Kevin started the set up the day before and hit my brief to a tee. We were blown away when we walked in and saw it.
Our Ceremony music and drinks reception entertainment was looked after by Laura O Neil (a close friend) Her vocal range and interaction is out of this world.
Donna Rave was our photographer, we advised we wanted a more casual shoot with mostly candid shots and not too many ‘posed photos’, and she delivered. The photos turned out excellent.
Paul from Old Pine Videos, funny guy with a great sense of humour and made us feel at ease.
360 photo booth was a hit with all guests. We used the Photobooth Guys for this.
The Event Band took to the stage as dinner was called. We had a DJ, electric violists and a vocalist as our guests entered, they had people straight onto the floor this continued as dinner was been served. I loved seeing our guests dance in-between there courses. After dinner the rest of the 10 piece band arrived and WOW they filled that room with joy and happiness, they interacted with all our guests and had the floor packed.
Something Old, Something New
New Dior and Gucci Shoes.
The Beauty Parade
We both had custom suits made by Louis Copeland, they fitted to perfection and the service was amazing. We even had a tailor come to our hotel the morning off to dress us to make sure we looked perfect.

The Big Day
I want to do it all again. Our ceremony in City Hall Dublin, it was filled with love and laugher. The celebrations really started as soon as we got to the Osprey.
Post Wedding Celebrations
We had day two in the Osprey. We started off with a trad session upstairs in the bar with drinks on arrival. For food we had a beautiful curry and all the trimmings. Aftwewards, we had Drag Bingo with Dame Stuffy who had everyone rolling around laughing. also on the day was 7 Entertainment DJ & Saxophone player, we danced till we dropped.
Why did you choose Osprey?
It was on our lists of viewing. We loved the ballroom but meeting Catherine was when we knew. She genuinely wanted to help and was excited for us.
