Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park
Join the Easter bunny for some fun family events at Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park. From 8-14th April, the park turns into an Easter wonderland. Find all of the clues hidden throughout the Park, solve Easter Bunny’s puzzle and collect your very special chocolate egg. It wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt and children can take part every day, trading their eggs for gifts. Families can also enjoy the Funky Forest Indoor Play Centre, a crazy golf course, a large outdoor playground and the hugely popular train trip through the award-winning Peatland Biodiversity Trail. Enjoy a woodland walk with your family enjoying the park’s woodland and peatland trails, gardens and numerous historic exhibitions many of which were recently updated.
Osprey Leisure Club
Nothing excites children more than a swimming pool. They love learning to swim, stretching their legs in the water and tiring themselves out by practising new techniques. Kildare Maze
If you’d love some family fun that’s a bit of a challenge, the Kildare Maze reopens for Easter 2022. From April 1st to April 16th, you can enjoy Leinster’s largest hedge maze challenging each other to see who can escape the quickest. There is something to keep all of the family entertained here like the wooden maze, a round of crazy golf, a zip wire, and an assault course if you’re feeling adventurous. After a day of fun, enjoy a picnic in the spring sunshine at the picnic area.
Easter Science Camp
Did you know Osprey Hotel are hosting an Easter Summer Camp? During the Junior Einstein Camp on 11th April, children will enjoy lots of exciting and educational experiments while learning and having fun. Members will attempt an Egg Drop Engineering Challenge, learn about the science of the eye all while learning an creating great memories They’ll make some yellow slime and take home their very own diffraction rainbow glasses. As well as having great fun, it might ignite their curiosity for science. You won’t have far to travel for lunch, dinner, a swim or bedtime when you book an overnight stay at Osprey Hotel.
Kildare Village
While a shopping trip might not excite children as much as their parents, Kildare Village has a packed itinerary of family fun that will. Immerse yourself in the fun-filled, family atmosphere at Kildare Village and enjoy children’s activities and live music performances. On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April you can try family yoga classes combining breath work, an interactive game, partner yoga and a short meditation. There is an egg for everyone along the easter trail & easter egg hunt and children can also take part in a colouring competition. Adults can pick up a bargain in the outlets while the little ones are entertained.
