Moat Theatre
Soak up the culture and talent of Kildare on a rainy day with a visit to Moat Theatre. This state-of-the-art performance space is a little theatre with a big heart, right in the centre of town, a short walk from our Naas Hotel. The multi-function space plays host to all sorts of music, art, theatre, comedy, and live events of all kinds & they have an Art Hub for groups and events. They have weekly and monthly favourites alongside very special once-off and short-run performances, usually part of a community initiative or project. Newbridge Silverware Visitor Center
The Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre is a shopper’s paradise and a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Kildare. Newbridge is a contemporary designer which is famous for its homeware, fashion and jewellery and for putting the town of Newbridge on the map. The visitor centre has a homeware & jewellery store, a restaurant & fashion museum and is a must-do when travelling around Ireland’s Ancient East. The in-house restaurant has won numerous awards for the quality of its food and drink. You can pick up a gift for yourself or a loved one, something really special to add to your Christmas tree or a memento of a fantastic trip to Kildare.
The Museum of Style Icons
The Museum of Style Icons within the Newbridge Visitor Centre was named on the top five free attractions by Failte Ireland, Irelands National Tourism Development Authority. The museum contains numerous collections and artefacts relating to Stars of the Silver Screen and many modern-day artists including Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Grace, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, the Beatles and many more. It’s a fascinating visit for lovers of style and fashion.
