Day 1

There is nothing quite like a girls weekend or a hen party in a luxurious spa hotel, surrounded by plenty to see and do. Start your wild weekend off with a delicious lunch in Osprey Bar, selecting a dish from our all-day dining menu. If you want a light bite, head to The Barista Bar for a hot coffee and a sweet treat. If you want to start the party early, you might choose a drink from our extensive bar menu or a cocktail made just for you. Check in from 3pm and settle into your spacious bedroom, with plenty of space to get ready.

Before anyone can complain of a hangover, get yourselves down to Abbeyfield Farm where you can take part in clay pigeon shooting, air rifle shooting and archery, perfect for an active girly weekend or hen party. For a more glamorous celebration, enjoy a race day and have a flutter on the world’s best bloodstock in The Curragh Racecourse. If you’d prefer something more novelty like a life drawing session or a dance class, contact our events team to arrange conference room rental. The possibilities are endless!

Head back to your room/rooms to doll yourselves up for a night out in nearby university town, Maynooth, or more locally in Kildare Town or Naas. Order a pizza to your room to fuel up and make sure you can keep up with the crowd! Kavanaghs Pub in Naas is a great traditional pub with excellent live music to start off in. When it opens, head to Studio One at the Silken Thomas in Kildare and dance the night away. If you want to venture further afield, Dublin City is packed with pubs, restaurants, bars and nightclubs and is less than 30-minutes away in a taxi.

Finish your night with a nightcap in the bar in Osprey Hotel or just stock up on water and snacks for the next morning!

Day 2

For those who didn’t overdo it the night before or those girls who miraculously don’t suffer from hangovers (there are always a couple!), grab a take away breakfast and get yourselves out and about early for a bargain hunting trip to Kildare Village. There you’ll find over 100 boutiques of leading fashion and lifestyle brands offering up to 60% off the original retail price. Our guests can enjoy special treatment and an additional 10% off using our VIP Pass, available from reception. If Kildare Village isn’t enough, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is less than 30-minutes’ drive from Osprey Hotel and has a wide range of high street faves, including the newest Penneys Store in Ireland.

If you’d prefer a lie in to some retail therapy, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Osprey Hotel, choosing from our great selection of breakfast options. We have everything you could possibly want for breakfast ranging from fresh fruit and cereal to a delicious Full Irish Breakfast and everything in between.

Meet up in the afternoon for an afternoon of pampering in Osprey Spa. We have a state of the art leisure centre, complete with gym, 20-metre swimming pool, deck level sauna and steam room and a hydro-jet pool, perfect for a refreshing dip. Spoil yourself (and the hen) and book a luxury treatment from our talented team in Osprey Spa. We offer a wide range of services including massages, facials, beauty treatments, mud baths and so much more. We use only the finest quality products throughout Osprey Spa such as Dermalogica and Voya. A treatment here will have you feeling rejuvenated and ready for another evening of fun.

Book your group dinner in our stylish, newly-decorated Herald & Devoy Restaurant and laugh the night away catching up on the antics from the night before. Choose from a selection of menu options, ranging from sumptuous steaks and burgers to healthier options, salads & vegan meals. Our chefs are happy to cater to any special requests or dietary requirements with adequate notice and our menu has something for every appetite. Day 3

The weekend will have flown in so make sure to make the most of your last morning in Kildare. Wake up early and enjoy a morning swim, followed by a trip to our brand new thermal suite. Meet for a leisurely late breakfast, making sure to book your table in advance to avoid any delays.

It would be a pity not to experience one of Kildares gems on your way home, so arrange a trip to the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. The National Stud is a perfect place to visit for fans of livery and all things equestrian and they produce some of the very best horses in the world. Closeby, the Japanese Gardens will be a haven of peace and tranquility in your otherwise busy weekend. Enjoy a unique place where Eastern and Western Cultures meet and take a couple of group pictures before parting.
